At the outset, I take pride in acknowledging the fact that I deem it a rare privilege to be the life time Chairperson of the ambitious educational enterprise christened as Geeta Devi DAV Public School Castair’s Town , Deoghar. I wish all the Very Best to the students, parents, well wishers, Management, LMC and the school workforce for playing their part with uniqueness in the educational endeavour.

 Education all over the world is undergoing a paradigm shift. Knowledge is no longer constrained by time and space. It has transcended beyond the classrooms and school campuses. Hence, continuous mentoring, monitoring and evaluation of the learning environment need to be done to provide required intellectual stimulation to the young minds. We all know that education is not a mere accumulation of facts; rather a preparation of life itself. In today's world, how much you know does not matter, application of the acquired knowledge is of utter importance.

The entire purpose of education is not to restrict itself to imparting bookish knowledge only but inculcate humanitarian values like wisdom, compassion, courage, humility, integrity and reliability in a student. Geeta Devi DAV Public School Castair’s Town Deoghar stands tall for it has successfully developed a holistic system where the essence of formal education has been intricately woven with moral, spiritual, and social education. It is gratifying that the dynamism of the young talent blooming in our garden is being tapped. 

The school, in its pursuit to provide the very best in education, imparts education that is based on conscience and rears a breed of young minds that are bustling with self-confidence, motivation and ever ready to take up challenges. 

One of the most significant character traits that this school has is it focuses on instilling in our youth during their education the sense  of service- before-self. The aim is to make them successful not only in life, but also conscious of their duties and responsibilities towards their fellow citizens.As I know the teachers and the staff  are aware of the challenges that lie ahead and very meticulously leaving no stone unturned to further enrich the legacy of this esteemed institution.
